That amount of waste produces a National Museum in a month? A lot, as she discovered the artist Joshua Sofaer, who created the exhibition Science Museum Rubbish Collection.

This artist has decided to expose the trash of a Museum and the National Museum of British Science accepted the challenge. The exhibition was divided into two phases. The first gathered, Sofaer you have chosen, photographed and documented the waste produced during a month by visitors, staff and material inherent in exhibitions, in order to create a visual diary of the waste produced. In this first phase, the public can participate actively to help collect and separate the garbage. In the second phase, which began on July 25 and runs until 14 September, the trash was exposed artistically in various spaces of the Museum.

Since the rotting food Bras abandoned, Soafer collected the largest variety of trash as possible. "Discover the beauty, value and volume of trash we produce in this single exposure developed in two parts, which traces the journey of waste generated by the Museum over the course of 30 days, as part of our program of changing climate". This is how the Science Museum invites the public to visit the exhibition.
